SENIOR PLANNER/BUYER

Our client, a leading Direct Marketing specialist, is looking for an experienced Senior Planner/Buyer to be responsible for producing media plans and buying campaigns across all specialist direct media. This requires a comprehensive knowledge of all specialist media plus a skill in negotiation. It will require an ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally. The Senior Planner/Buyer¡¦s main concern should be to meet their client¡¦s business objectives by producing cost-effective and innovative media plans and delivering the best available cost deals for all media, with a strong focus on results. You will have a responsibility to train and work closely with one or more Planner/Buyers on all accounts. You should be expected to have strong client relationships and attend regular client meetings with/ without a Planner/Buyer.

Salary:

£20,000 - £25,000

Requirements:

Experience and skills required: „X A detailed and thorough knowledge of lists including profiling, email, inserts, door-to-door and card-decks „X Ability to produce basic and more advanced mathematical formulae to assist in producing planning schedules „X Detailed understanding of and ability to manipulate and interpret client results in order to make future recommendations „X Meticulous attention to detail „X Excellent negotiation skills „X Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels of staff and third party suppliers „X A comprehensive and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook „X Proactive and enthusiastic
